Assignation of Charlie Kirk

I may be old but at this moment my brain is still functioning, and every single bit of knowledge I have acquired over the past 82 years says this
• The assignation of Charlie Kirk’s is going to be as important a moment in history as 911, the assignation of Martin Luther King, or Pearl Harbor.
• Killing someone because you disagree with them is abhorrent.
• We must not forget that the majority of the original settlers who came here did so seeking religious freedom, we need a return to Judeo-Christian values if we really are going to survive as a true Republic.
• We need to stop being afraid to let our opinions be known and be willing to say as Charlie did, “Prove Me Wrong…”

I have been an infrequent visitor to my Facebook page, but I think I am going to start using it more often and follow Charlie’s lead and express exactly how I feel and hopefully that will be the beginning of peaceful reasoned discussion with the understanding that ‘we can agree to disagree at times, and that’s OK.’s. I have friends, acquaintances and some family members with whom I disagree but that does cause me to ignore or shun them.

One final thought for today.

I have always erected a flagpole at every house I have owned proudly flown or American flag 24/7 with lights as required. It is a half-staff until tomorrow for Charlie as directed by the President.
